On November 4-5, 2023, the DT4CE Hackathon “Digital Technologies for empowering citizens in Kyrgyzstan” was held in IUK, where young and talented minds are going to turn their ideas into reality. 

Among many participants, students of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics of AIU Daniyar uulu Raiymbek and Taalaibekov Emir took 3rd place. They performed tasks such as involving citizens in interaction with the state, expanding the capabilities of civil society in improving the public procurement system with the help of digital technologies and eliminating corruption. 

The organizers were Transparency International in partnership with the International University of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the delegation of the European Union in the Kyrgyz Republic. This hackathon provided a unique opportunity to develop ideas related to digital technologies to support and promote the public procurement system in the Kyrgyz Republic.
